Contact Us

Come in with a drawing and pictures for an in-house estimate, or schedule an appointment with one of our design specialists.

We also do free at-home estimates and design consultations for your kitchen or bathroom remodeling projects.

Alternatively, if you have a busy schedule,  you could also email us a copy of your layout for a virtual quote.  We can do virtual appointments to provide this estimate for you. However, for bathroom projects, on-site consultation is sometimes necessary to assess the labor scope required before a quote can be given.

Select Material

It’s always fun choosing your color scheme and imagining what your revamped kitchen or bathroom will look like. After discussing options and choosing a plan together, we can schedule an appointment to help you pick and choose from our in-house selection of countertop materials.

Here, you can hand-select the best slabs for your project. We carry a limited collection of stocked slab colors at our Kirkland warehouse to choose from.

If nothing in our warehouse is JUST right, you have the added option of selecting materials from our list of vendors, all conveniently located.

In that case, your design specialist will schedule an appointment and accompany you to the stone vendor of your choice so that you can personally handpick your perfect slab.

Choose Edge

At European Stone & Tile Design, we offer a full array of edge profile selections with four standards at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!  Your design specialist will advise and help you select the edge that will give a perfect finish to your countertop.  Custom edge designs are also available. Please see our exclusive Countertop Edge Guide here.

Template

Templating is the process of measuring your installed cabinets tops and adding countertop details.

We are using top of the range digital templates, making use of the proliner technology to create your custom countertops with precision and accuracy. Before templating, the following items need to be in place:

  • Cabinets and finished end panels must be installed, leveled, and in their final locations.
  • Upper cabinets must be in place if you have purchased a full-height backsplash.
  •  All kitchen appliances need to be on location, including the stove, dishwasher, fridge, etc.
  • The sink needs to be on location as a template for the sink cut-out; alternatively, the exact box measurements must be on hand.
  • Faucet fixtures need to be purchased and on-site as well.  You can use your existing sink or select a new one from our top-mount and under-mount sinks range.

Fabricate

The custom template is the framework used to cut the granite to the proper dimensions for your custom kitchen countertops. Once the granite has been cut to the template dimensions, the fabrication begins.

Fabrication uses heavy machinery with high volumes of water to polish the granite through a series of different polishing levels to bring out the beauty and natural shine of the material.

The fabrication process is where 85% of labor is expended. Once the process has begun, each piece can take from 2-6 days to fabricate, depending on the surface.

Install

This is where it gets really exciting!  Installation is the final phase of the project. The installation crew will bring your custom-made countertop to your project site, unload the piece(s), and begin the installation process.

Each crew is specially trained to install your custom granite or quartz countertop. To ensure a top-quality project, we ensure that enough time is spent on it to guarantee a successful installation.  Each project is different.

Your project determines the time required.  Even if it takes longer than usual, we at European Stone & Tile Designs will happily spend that time to ensure a job well done.

Stone & Countertop Care
